#danceadayinshanghai – is a dance cartography project. From August to September, 2016, Paige used dance to map her Chinese herbal medicine internship in Shanghai. For three weeks, every day, she used her iPhone to make dance videos, each documenting her experience of place. She used the limitations of Instagram, editing the videos into one-minute, each day she shared her embodied experience with family and friends.
